I take my competitive fishing seriously but I always strive to have FUN first, when I am having fun the rest just seems to fall into place. I also take my commitments to our fishery seriously so I have always tried to maintain some time and energy to put back into the fishery from which I draw so much personally.

Founder and member of Bluenose Bassmasters. Nova Scotia's first B.A.S.S. affiliated chapter club.

Regular volunteer for Nova Scotia Inland Fisheries projects and studies.

Spearheaded campaign and headed up construction of a public boat launch on Ten Mile Lake in Queens Co.

I have provided instructional help and materials to local youth clubs to help promote bass fishing.

Filmed and hosted Simply Fishing segments on our local cable network.

Due to these many affiliations I am a well recognized member of the provincial bass fishery.

To stay up on this sport and other trends I regularly participate on various web site discussion boards and I read books on the subject as I come across them in addition to my regular subscriptions to various fishing periodicals.
