Welcome to Mark
Weare . com Champion
tournament angler, radio show host, bass fishing guide and volunteer
worker within our fisheries, part of what you'll see on these pages for
Mark Weare.
We Canadians are very fortunate to have
such
vast and great outdoor opportunities present in our daily
life. I
believe that we should do our best to enjoy them in the way most suited
to our passions and abilities. During times such as these with our
forces in parts of the world defending our values and freedoms, I also
believe we should give thanks to them as well.
For
me I really place most of my emphasis these days on fishing,
particularly smallmouth bass fishing and bass tournaments.
I
have also been fortunate enough to have turned my passion for bass
fishing into a small business venture. By working with and or for
various fishing related businesses I am able to earn some money as well
as work with the latest in tackle / equipment. As a part of Team Valley
Tire I have been able to
find success in the bass fishing tournament scene and I have been hosting 'The First Cast' radio show since 2002 on
our local
radio station, CKBW.
All in all my desire to better myself, my
favorite fisheries and my plans to get the most out of my enjoyment for
fishing has lead to this website. Please take a moment to look around
and to also visit my sponsors as listed to right on all pages.
Be sure to check out the all important Team Valley
Tire (TVT)
pages listed on the left, there you can read more about our tournament
successes and failures as well.
I
provide a list of all known to me bass tournaments in Nova Scotia each
year. This resource is read many thousands of times each season so
check now to plan your next set of events.
As a
co-host of the NSBCC, along with Tremayne Nauss, you can also
see data
regarding that important provincial tournament by visiting the links to
the left.
Enjoy all that is available to us and be sure to
share it with our youth, they are a very important part of our future
but also a very important part of our sport and fun today.
Best Regards,
Mark Weare
